In 1986, Kuhn formed a trio with bassist Ron Carter and drummer Al Foster for a live recording at the Village Vanguard. Now, 20 years later, Kuhn makes his Blue Note Records debut by reconvening this formidable trio for another live recording - this time a remarkable set of standards and originals captured in the summer of 2006 at the renowned club, Birdland.
